Additional Books to City Library
Two thousand eight hundred thirty-nine (2,839) books has been donated to the City Library recently, city librarian Elizabeth Daduya announced during the Flag Raising Ceremony at Rizal Triangle covered court on Monday.
“This should boost Mayor James “Bong” Gordon Jr.’s drive to promote the importance of reading especially for the youth, to widen their knowledge and improve English proficiency for global competitiveness,” Daduya said. “The additional reading materials and reference books will be a big help to students for research and reports.”
The latest contributions, among others, were from Delfin Juico Jr., secretary to the mayor, who donated 48 titles from Law, History, Constitution and Public Administration; Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), 5 titles and Gordon College, 2, 786 titles of reference books.
