POWER RUN: KEEP YOUR HEART RUNNING

“ A healthy diet will lead to healthy lifestyle,” is Mayor James Gordon, Jr.’s reminder to the attendees of Power Run sponsored by Subic Olongapo Cancer Foundation Inc.(SOCFI) spearheaded by Dr. Resty Acosta in cooperation with the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) in celebration of its 7th year Anniversary on July 31, 2010 at East Tapinac Oval track (ETOT) with the theme, Power Run: “Keep Your Heart Running.”

“I would like to congratulate Dr. Resty Acosta sa pag-organize ng event na ito at sa lahat ng participants. Makakatulong ito sa cancer foundation at sa mga cancer patient. Sa lahat ng parents and students na naririto, Congratulations!” Mayor Gordon said.

First lady Anne Gordon was also present in the event . “Gusto kong batiin ang lahat ng mga parents, students at lahat ng mga kabataang nag-participate sa event na ito and of course sa mga taong nasa likod ng programang ito na sina Dr. Resty Acosta presidente ng SOCFI, Dr. Jaime Jesus Rojo chairman ng SOCFI, at si Mr. Hubert Magrata ,General Secretary ng YMCA sa pagbuo ng programang ito na makakatulong sa SUBIC OLONGAPO CANCER FOUNDATION (SOCFI) na siya namang tinututukan at tinutulungan ng Olongapo City Medical Society at iba pang Civic-Minded organizations.” FL Anne Gordon said.

“Dapat nating tandaan na ang kalusugan ay napaka-importante,kaya naman importante din ang pag-eehersisyo gaya ng POWER RUN na ito. I hope sa mga susunod pang i-oorganize na power run ay magparticipate pa kayo”, she added.

The Subic-Olongapo Cancer Foundation, Inc. (SOCFI) is a non-stock and non-profit organization and the only cancer care organization serving the communities of Subic, Olongapo City, Zambales and Bataan.

  • To SOCFI mgt. it's a good idea to open up memberships to medical graduates specially graduates from your local communities you're serving.....

    The same to YMCA mgt.encourage all high schools/college males to join the gig.....
