MORE PHILHEALTH MEMBERS SOUGHT

As part of the intensified efforts of Mayor James Gordon, Jr. and FL Anne Gordon to provide health care assistance to all Olongapenos, the Department of Health, (DOH) in cooperation with the Olongapo City government is conducting a registration for the government’s health insurance program.

A day-long Philhealth registration will be held on Oct.2 at the Rizal Triangle Covered Court . First lady Anne Gordon is spearheading the event together with Rizalino Jose, in-charge of the city’s Philhealth Indigent Program and the representatives from the different department in the city government.

Dubbed “Philhealth Sabado, Magseguro, Magparehistro,” the event aims to enlist and distribute Philhealth cards to indigents identified by the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO).

DOH said, “The program intends to register non-members from the informal sector under Philhealth’s “Individually PayingProgram.”

In addition, DOH has announced that Philhealth is opening its doors across the country to provide universal health care coverage to all Filipinos.
