PASALUBONG CENTERS IN ‘GAPO
Part of various efforts to create more opportunities that will provide livelihood and employment to Olongapeños, Mayor James “Bong” Gordon, Jr. approved and signed Ordinance No.27 (series of 2010), “An Ordinance Establishing Olongapo City Pasalubong Centers in All Public Markets in the City”.
“We can make better progress with our Gawang Gapo products. Sa pamamagitan ng Pasalubong Centers makikilala ang mga produktong gawa sa Olongapo hindi lamang dito pati na rin sa ibang bansa,” Mayor Gordon said.
The Ordinance seeks to encourage creativeness, ingenuity and development of necessary skills of the residents through livelihood programs that require minimal capital but may later on prosper and contribute to the local economy.
Part of Mayor Gordon’s HELPS Program is the Gawang Gapo under the Livelihood Cooperative Development Office(LCDO) which includes local products of Olongapo such as foods, souvenir items and other manufactured goods.
Pasalubong Centers with gawang gapo products will be established in the city’s public markets.
Ordinance No. 27 was passed by the Sangguniang Panlungsod on November 11, 2010.

Pricing is the Key,make price items the lowest as possible.Eto ang sekreto ng mga Intsik, kaya sila ang number one sa export.Kahit walang quality ang kanilang products somehow it's still OK.
Dito naman nyo tirahin ang mga Intsik sa product quality.
Price and Quality should be the trademark of Gawang Gapo products.
