31st MEU help in Guinsaugon recognized

U.S. Marine Brig. Gen Mastin M Robeson, commander of US Joint Task Force Balikatan ’06 receives a Lapu-Lapu statue from Senator Richard J. Gordon, Chairman of Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC) at the Appreciation Lunch in Manila Hotel in recognition of the hard work and invaluable assistance of the Marines and sailors of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, Joint Task Force Balikatan during the relief and recovery efforts in Guinsaugon, St. Bernard, Southern Leyte. Looking on are AFP Chief of Staff, Lt. General Generoso Senga and Army Chief Lt. General Hermogenes Esperon.
