Boy falls into river in Olongapo City

An 11-year-old boy was reported missing after falling into a river in Olongapo City Wednesday afternoon, radio DZMM reported Thursday.

Vic Viscocho Jr., public information officer of the Olongapo City Hall, said search rescue operations have been launched for the missing boy identified as Daryl Batalyer, a resident of Purok 13, Barangay Old Cabalan.

Reports received by radio DZMM said Batalyer was playing with his siblings around 3 p.m. when the ground gave way, hurling him into the river.
