OLONGAPO CITY - Police denied protecting the operation of illegal gambling in the city amid reports that unscrupulous members of the press ( not from the Journal Group) continue the “pula-puti” and color games at the business district on Magsaysay Drive.
The “pula-puti” and color games allegedly managed by Jong and Menor stopped for one night after it was published in newspapers. But it resumed the following day, with barangay tanods on guard.
“Pakitang tao lamang na may ginawa ang pulis,” sources said.
Even “tupada” has started a dry run for two days in Barangay Old Cabalan at the motorpool of the city government.
The fruit games and video karera den, allegedly managed by Dennis Soriano of Bataan, is reportedly patronized by minors that parents howled in protest
