Mayor Bong's 2007 Infra Projects

The Olongapo City Government under the administration of Mayor James "Bong" Gordon, Jr. had twenty eight (28) infrastructure projects last year.

The City Engineering Office headed by OIC Asst. City Engineer Narciso Martinez submitted to the City Mayor's Office an Accomplishment Report that says thirteen (13) building projects and fifteen (15) roads and drainage projects were completed in the year 2007 amounting to P54,811,986.74.

Some of 2007 projects are the 6 x 12 meters waiting area or Taxpayer's Lounge which will be opening soon and the Channel Restroom at the Olongapo City Mall Complex which provides convenience to shoppers.

Pedestal lamp posts, curbs and gutters in Rizal Avenue have already been repaired and also the fence of New Cabalan's Landfill.

There were various schools which benefited from the infra projects of Mayor Gordon such as the elementary and high schools of Barretto, Gordon Heights, Kalaklan, Banicain. The Olongapo Center for Assistance Rehabilitation and Empowerment (OCARE) Building in Brgy. East Tapinac benefited too.

Skylight roofing of the East Bajac-Bajac Market was constructed simultaneously with the rehabilitation of the Male and Female Rest Rooms.

Meanwhile, Hansen St., (Brill St.-Davidson St., Brgy. East Tapinac), Bacon St. (E-9th St., Brgy East Tapinac), Washingotn ST., (National Highway, Brgy. Kalaklan) where all concreted while the manholes at E-21 St. (Mansion Bakery-Ardion St., Brgy. East Bajac-Bajac) and Irving ST., (E-14th St.-16th., Brgy Kalalake) have been fixed.
