Big finish for Tuason racers in Subic
Tuason racing powered its way to a big finish behind Stuart McDonald, JP Tuason, new recruit Jed Jalandoni and Mike Tuason in the recent kickoff of the 2008 Rally Sprint Series at the Subic Bay Freeport.
The only entrants with diesel powered cars, the Tuason Racing drivers delivered with aplomb.
McDonald and JP drew first blood as they posted the overall fastest time of 1:02 in Special Stage 1.
The 19-year-old Jalandoni, a junior College of St. Benilde student, secured third place against the veterans in Round 1 of the RP 14 class where he clocked 11:24 along with co-driver Pong Tee, four seconds ahead of JP and co-driver McDonald who ended fourth with 11:28 seconds.
Mike likewise, took third place in Round 2 of the RP 14 division with co-driver Bjorn Ong Tiao Bok, clocking 10:21 seconds. - inquirer.net
