Olongapo hosts POF kickoff
THE FIRST LEG OF THE 3RD PHILIPPINE Olympic Festival kicks off on April 2 when Olongapo City and the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) jointly host the Central Northern Luzon – CAR (CNC – CAR), qualifying games.
Olongapo CITy Mayor James Gordo, Jr. SBMA Administrator Armand Arreza and Philippine Olympic Committee and festival chair Robert Aventajado signed a Memorandum of Agreement recently that sealed the deal for the hosting.
The venues for the sports competitions that will be held in Olongapo such as swimming, football, muaythai, power lifting, sepak takraw, taekwondo and volleyball have already been prepared for the five day event.
