20 STETHOSCOPES FOR GORDON COLLEGE

Gordon College received twenty (20) stethoscopes from Pinoy expatriate Willie Landero this April 10.

Dr. Arlida Pame, Gordon College President and Ira Daylo, Administrative Officer of the college personally received 20 donated stethoscopes from Landero, an Olongapeño who is now working at the Processing and Sterilization Department of El Camino Hospital in California, USA.

In the recent flag raising ceremony of city officials and employees at Rizal Triangle Multi-Purpose Center, Mayor James “Bong” Gordon, Jr. expressed appreciation to Landero’s donations for Gordon College.

“We greatly appreciate Mr. Landero’s donations for our college, and I am glad that Olongapeños really know how to look back even though they have gone so far in life. That’s how Olongapeños are,” Mayor Gordon said.

Mayor Gordon also said that the donated stethoscopes would be very useful in the studies and trainings of students of Allied Medical Studies of the college.

Meanwhile, Gordon College led by Dr. Pame likewise expressed their gratitude to Landero. Landero promised that he would try to donate more useful equipment for the city when he returns from work abroad. PAO/jpb
