hired killers after me, PASG chief claims
The head of the Presidential Anti-Smuggling Group (PASG) claimed Friday at least five killers have been hired to track him down over a recent drug bust in Subic.
Radio dzBB's Carlo Mateo reported that PASG head Antonio Villar Jr made the claim at a media forum of the National Press Club in Manila.
Villar said he received information that the five killers are professionals who are based in Mindanao, and that he had been shown photographs of them.
He said this only means the PASG's operations had "hurt" the Bamboo Gang, whose operations he said may have been affected with last week's drug bust.
Last week, PASG operatives seized some P4.2 billion in methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) smuggled into the country. - GMANews.TV
