‘GAPO’S FINISHED INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS

Over twenty (21) infrastructure projects of City Mayor James “Bong” Gordon, Jr. have already been bidded-out and completed for the past three (3) months alone.

Many of the completed infrastructure projects are concreting of roads, asphalt overlays and construction of drainage systems in different barangays around the city, particularly in areas prone to floods.

It can be recalled that because of the continuing repair and construction of drainage systems in the city, massive floods and damages were prevented during the wake of typhoon ‘Frank’ last month.

These are some of the recently finished infrastructure projects:

Other finished infrastructure projects include the construction of a covered court in Barangay Kalaklan, the 2nd floor of the Bureau of Internal Revenue in Barangay Pag-asa and Center for Youth ng Barangay Sta. Rita.

It can also be recalled that there are various other buildings that have already been inaugurated including the new OPD-Medical Arts Bldg. in James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital (JLGMH) and the Day Care Center at the Women’s Center Compound in Barangay Sta. Rita.

“Napakahalaga ang mga isinasakatuparang mga infrastructure projects ng lungsod. Ito ay parte ng isinusulong na kaayusan sa lungsod at naging mahalagang criteria rin sa paghirang sa Olongapo bilang ‘most competitive city’ dahil sa building boom na nararanasan ng lungsod,” Mayor Gordon said.

The concreting of road and construction of drainage system at West 2nd Street, New Kababae, Olongapo City. This is one of the many infrastructure projects of Mayor James “Bong” Gordon Jr. already completed.
