Jetty Project Update

The jetty being constructed at the mouth of Kalaklan River just below the lighthouse is now 20% complete. This project will help control the lahar material from clogging the river, boats can also use this project to load and unload passengers. The PhP20M fund for the said project came from the Office of Senator Richard Gordon.

A prier is being proposed near this jetty to transport workers to the shipbuilding project at Agusuhin. Mayor Bong Gordon has proposed to build an access road/embankment and a fish port in the area.
