ALAY LAKAD FOUNDATION FUND RAISING

The Alay Lakad Foundation launched their fund-raising program on August 11, 2008 during the flag-raising ceremony at the Rizal Triangle Multi-Purpose Center.

This fund raising project, where donation boxes will be placed in different business establishments around the city, is spearheaded by Mayor, Gene Eclarino, head of City Social Welfare and Development (CSWDO) and Alay Lakad Foundation chair Gerry Bada are leading the leg work.

This project was made possible through an endorsement letter by Mayor Gordon addressed to the Olongapo Business Club which immediately approved. The collected funds will be used for the scholarship program of Alay Lakad and other various activities.

“We are promoting this good project dahil ito ay for a good cause.

The scholars goes through a screening committee before they are finally chosen to ensure that only the deserving are given the chance to continue their education and pursue their dreams. Ninety nine (99%) percent of Alay Lakad Scholars are enrolled in Gordon College.
