NATHAN MANALO, NEW CITY COUNCILOR!

Olongapo City Mayor James “Bong” Gordon Jr. officially presented Jonathan Manalo as the new City Councilor on August 04, 2008.

During the flag-raising ceremony held at the Rizal Triangle Multi-Purpose Center, Manalo took his oath of office as city councilor replacing Marey Beth Marzan who resigned to head the City Planning and Development Office (CPDO).

Manalo graduated cum laude with a degree of BS Computer Science in Gordon College, where he was also a city scholar. He served as an Executive Assistant to the City Mayor before he was appointed city councilor.

Mayor Gordon, while introducing Manalo, cited the importance of preparing the next generation as the future leaders of the nation.

Si Nathan ay nagtapos ng cum laude sa Gordon College kaya he is very fit to become a city councilor,” Mayor Gordon said.
