GIFT GIVING ON MAYOR GORDON’S BIRTHDAY

As Olongapo City Mayor James ‘Bong’ Gordon Jr’s present to Olongapenos on his 61st birthday celebration, a gift giving program was held on October 1, 2008 Rizal Triangle Multi-Purpose Center. Over 5000 beneficiaries were given grocery items by Mayor Gordon and Vice Governor Anne Marie Gordon.

Government employees and other civic organizations helped organize the program. The beneficiaries were identified by the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), headed by Gene Eclarino.

Meanwhile, Mayor Gordon’s social welfare programs for the indigent families of the city are still on high gear. It can be recalled that recently Mayor Gordon gave financial assistance to several families in need.

For other welfare programs of the city, visit the CSWDO office at 2nd Floor, Olongapo City Hall.
