OLONGAPO LIVELIHOOD CAPITAL ASSISTANCE
Mayor James Gordon, Jr. and Zambales Vice Governor and First Lady Anne Marie Gordon have extended another livelihood capital assistance to several residents of Olongapo at the lobby of the Olongapo City Hall on December 17, 2008.
The First Lady said she wants Olongapo to be progressive that’s why as vice-governor of Zambales and first Lady of Olongapo, she assures Olongapeños of her continuous support especially when it comes to livelihood projects.
She also cited some of the awards received by the city like the “clean and green”, peace and order, most competitive city and most child-friendly awards. “Dahil yan sa inyo,” she added.
The Livelihood Cooperative and Development Office (LCDO) aims to equip Olongapeños the necessary knowledge and skills to venture into livelihood projects.
The livelihood assistance will be used for sari-sari store, hog raising, slipper vending, ukay-ukay, kakanin and merienda vending, doormat vending and other livelihood projects.
