PNP OFFICERS NEWLY ASSIGNED TO OCPO

Mayor James “Bong” Gordon, Jr. introduced recently before city officials and employees the PNP officers newly assigned to the Olongapo City Police Office during the flag raising ceremony at the Rizal Triangle Multi-Purpose Covered Court .

The newly assigned police officers are Police Superintendent Roseller Arbolado, deputy city director for admin, Sr. Superintendent Elmer Cabreros, chief operations unit, Police Superintendent Armando Mariano, chief investigation unit, Police Inspector Maila P. Causin, chief, Womens’ and Children Protection Center (WCPC) and Police Inspector Gerald Fernandez, chief computer service and tourist police team leader.

Mayor Gordon also announced that a Memorandum of Agreement was signed between the city and the PNP regarding the conversion of the tourist information center in Brgy. Barretto as a “tourist police control command post.” The newly organized tourist police is a joint project of the Philippine National Police, Olongapo City Police Office and the City Government to ensure the safety of foreign and local tourists who wish to explore the beauty of the city.

“Palakpakan natin ang mga ‘newly assigned police officers’ na siguradong magpapanatili sa Olongapo ng Best Police office o may best peace and order council in the entire Philippines,” Mayor Gordon said.

The PNP officers newly assigned to OCPO, namely: Police Supt. Armando Mariano, Sr. Supt. Elmer Cabreros, Police Supt. Roseller Arbolado, Police Inspector Maila Causin and Police Inspector Gerald Fernandez with Mayor James “Bong” Gordon, Jr. , Zambales Vice-Governor Anne Marie Gordon, Vice-Mayor Cynthia Cajudo , P/S Supt. Abelardo Villacorta and Councilors Ellen Dabu, Gie Baloy and Edwin Piano.
