Zambales most wanted falls
BOTOLAN, ZAMBALES – The No.6 most wanted in Zambales was arrested by elements of the Botolan Police Station while creating trouble in Bgy. Binuclotan of this town Sunday evening, police said.
Zambales Police Provincial Office director Senior Supt. Rolando Felix identified the suspect as Rodolfo Rosaban Jr., a resident of Bgy. Villar.
Reports said that around 7 p.m., the Botolan Police Station received a telephone call from Bgy. Captain Alex Ferrer informing authorities that Rosaban was creating trouble in the community.
Rosaban shot at a responding team led by Senior Insp. Oriano Mina, PO2 Froilan Bantalay, PO2 Simon Gonzales, PO2 Jayford Belardo and Po1 Bernardino Palanog.
The police chased Rosaban, who continued firing at his pursuers before he was hit on the left knee.
Recovered from Rosaban was a .38-cal. Pistol and two rounds of ammunition. He was taken to the Zambales Provincial Hospital for treatment. Report added the suspect has a standing arrest warrant for homicide. He is now detained at the Botolan Police Station.
