There’s no stopping Ang Kapatiran bets

ANG Kapatiran Party yesterday said it is determined to campaign for its candidates in the May 2010 elections.

“We will not relent in our plan to run for and try to win the presidency and other elective national and local positions so that we could work toward the urgent reforms this country needs,” said AKP presidential aspirant Olongapo Councilor JC delos Reyes.

He said the recent political developments highlight the need to further the cause for responsible and accountable political parties.

“We owe this to the Filipinos as this is the only way we could even begin the process of genuine change. Reform and transform politics by advancing the common good is the central theme of Ang Kapatiran Party,” Reyes said.

He also appealed to the voting public to wisely “vote for, vote in and vote out ” candidates, not only on the basis of character and competence, but also based on the principles and platform espoused by the political parties they belong to. He also appealed for “principled partisan politics.”
