GORDON STRAIGHT TICKET FILED COCs
Incumbent Mayor James “Bong” Gordon, Jr. has formally filed his Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for a third term as mayor of Olongapo City last December 1, 2009.
At the Commission on Elections Office (COMELEC) - Olongapo, Mayor Gordon was accompanied by City First Lady and Zambales Vice-Governor Anne Marie Gordon who herself has filed her COC for the congressional seat in the 1st District of Zambales.
Vice-Mayor Cynthia G. Cajudo also filed her COC for re-election together with the complete slate for the city council which includes five (5) incumbent councilors, namely, Gina G. Perez, Rodel S.
Cerezo, Aquilino “Jong” Cortez, Elena C. Dabu and Nathan G. Manalo.

Also in the line-up running for city councilors are James “Bugsy” G. delos Reyes, Edna A. Elane, Romy G. Guerrero, Eyrma Yvette “Tet” Marzan and Eduardo "Prof. Ed" Piano.
The red color of the Gordon Team swamped the COMELEC office with relatives, friends and supporters sporting red shirts and dresses as a
manifestation of support. Jubilant Olongapoans provided a festive mood that boosted the confidence of the candidates even more.
After the filing of the COCs in Olongapo City, Mayor Gordon and company went to the COMELEC office in Intramuros, Manila to support the presidential bid of Senator Richard Gordon and his running mate Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chair Bayani Fernando.
‘’You can call us the transformers. We are here to transform the nation”, Sen. Gordon said.
