Zambales beaches await entrepreneurs

Iba, Zambales (7 February) -- This province is famous for its clean, shallow, blessed with aquatic resources beaches, which remain untapped by entrepreneurs to explore its potentials for commercial purposes.
During the Spanish era, there is such a place called "Fort Paynauen" which means a resting place, known also as Fortress of Playa Honda, located along the Bancal river in Botolan, I t was the most feared Spanish Fortress in Central Luzon. It was built to counter act those pirates who constantly attacked the region.
Paynauen was also the original name of the town of Iba - named after a sour fruit "iba", now the provincial capital of the province.
The main source of livelihood are farming, fishing, poultry, and animal husbandry, however mining prospect are bright since the province was rich in mineral deposits like chrome, asbestos, and white clay in the mountain of Tapulao in the town of Santa Cruz.
Many events has taken place in Iba such as the Central Luzon Region Athletic Association meet, the birth place of the late President Ramon Magsaysay, Cathedral of Saint Augustine built in 1700 by the Recollects, the provincial site of the Philippine National Police (PNP), and the station of Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), the St. Augustine Seminary, and the Ramon Magsaysay Technological University (RMTU), to name a few.
These are the come-ons of this province, for the upcoming arid season. The roads in going here are seemingly long, and unwinding but for travelers that seek adventure, thrill, and nature lovers, home now and see for yourself.
