TV station starts test broadcast
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Central Luzon Broadcasting Corporation (CLBC) will conduct its test broadcast for its CLTV 36, the first-ever free-television station covering the entire Central Luzon region.
Vernon Lusung, one of the programming triumvirates of CLTV, said the test broadcasts are in preparation for Channel 36’s soft opening on March 6.

Channel 36, the first major independent broadcast station in Central Luzon, can be accessed through local antenna under ultra high frequency (UHF).
An affiliate of the Laus Group of Companies (LGC), CLTV 36 boasts of its 10-kilowatt Harris Analog Transmitter boosted by a 240-foot antenna installed at the roof deck of the CGIC building along the Gapan-San Fernando-Olongapo Highway here.
The frequency expects to clearly broadcast to the region’s seven provinces, namely: Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Bataan, Zambales and Aurora, and spill-over to some points of Metro Manila.
Starting March 6, CLTV will go on air from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. with programs ranging from light magazine types to more serious political shows.
Station-produced program like “Simpleng Usapan”, “Issues & Platforms” and CLTV Balita --- a news and public affairs program --- will be regular attractions of CLTV 36.
Lusung said CLTV 36 is now accepting advertising efforts as the newest television channel promises a “magic bullet” solution to advertisers.
“Since we are broadcasting on a regional level, our advertising rates are much affordable and the messages of our advertisers reach directly to the desired market,” Lusung said.
