Vice-mayor elect in Zambales arrested
Elements of Zambales Criminal Investigation and Detection Team (ZCIDT) apprehended a vice-mayor elect in Zambales in his residence in Botolan town,Wednesday, for estafa case.
Sr. Supt. Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-3 (CIDG3) regional officer, identified the suspect as Masinloc town Vice- Mayor Roberto Eamelao, 52, of South Poblacion, Masinloc, Zambales.
He said the arresting team, armed with warrant of arrest issued by Judge Clodualdo Monta, Regional Trial Court branch 70 of Iba, Zambales, when swooped down the residence of Eamelao at about 9:00 a.m.The vice-mayor voluntarily surrendered to the arresting team led by SPO2 Teofilo Juanata Jr., said Eleazar.

Eamelao was facing Estafa case under Article 315 (1)(b) of the Revised Penal Code under Criminal Case 4413-1.Eleazar said the suspect was temporary withheld at the ZCIDT Sub-Office in Iba, Zambales with bail bond of P40,000.00 for his temporary liberty. (PNA)
