Quake jolts Zambales

A mild quake hit Zambales over the evening, but seismologists on Tuesday said no casualties nor damage to property were reported in the incident.


The quake registered at magnitude 2.6, with its epicenter located 32 km from the provincial capital of Iba.

The quake was recorded at 9:42 p.m. Monday. It was felt at Intensity II in Olongapo City, but there was no damage reported.

Phivolcs said it expects no aftershocks from the quake.
