SBMA vs. smuggling
SUBIC BAY FREEPORT – Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority Administrator CEO Armand Arreza ordered yesterday the intensified campaigned against suspected smuggling syndicates allegedly operated inside the Freeport zone.
Arreza also warned SBMA officials and personnel against dealing with or coddling any illegal activity or face termination from their post.
Arreza cited a recent Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the close coordination between the SBMA and the Bureau of Customs in implementing systems and procedures that will facilitate strict monitoring of all imports. (Franco G. Regala - Tempo)
