Full Metal Jacket enters President’s Cup Regatta
The Grand Prix yacht Full Metal Jacket, a Corby 43 Custom design racer, is the first foreign team to register for the 16th President’s Cup Regatta to be held in Subic Bay during the Easter Summer Week this year.
The yacht, flying the New Zealand flag with an all-Kiwi crew skippered by Chris Meads, saw action in Phuket King’s Cup 2007 in its maiden international competition.
Also expected to contend are defending champion Jelik of Frank Fong, Quantum Racing of Ray Roberts, Fortis Mandrake of Nick Burns/Fred Kinmoth, Microlab Moonlight Shadow of Ding Qing, Hi-Fidelity of Neil Pride and local entry and past winner Subic Centennial of Judes Echauz.
