DRESS CODE FOR CITY GOV'T EMPLOYEES

Olongapo City Mayor James “Bong” Gordon, Jr has ordered the implementation of the dress code policy among city government employees.

During the flag raising ceremonies at Rizal Triangle Multi-Purpose Center, Mayor Gordon reminded city employees to abide with the policy of wearing uniforms in accordance with the provisions of Republic Act 6713 or the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees.

“It’s our goal to professionalize the city government. Dress code is one of the elements of a professional environment. Hence I am encouraging all of you to abide with this policy,” Mayor Gordon said.

It can be recalled that through Mayor Gordon’s initiative, the city government is supporting employees to pass the Civil Service Examination as a measure to professionalize the Olongapo City Government.
