IBA, Zambales – A shovel blade, a place of wood, a bicycle steering rod, a kitchen knife and six-inch scissors were believed used in killing 43 year old Romulo Tanghal Jr., the municipal budget officer of this town, yesterday morning at his house in Zone 1, here.
Supt. Limpi Cayda, Iba chief of police, said these were the murder weapons gathered as evidence, including the pair of scissors that was left by the killer lodged inTanghal’s abdomen.
Tanghal’s body was found at 7 a.m. yesterday by his part time maid, Zeny San Miguel. Neighbors who heard the victim shouting incoherently at around 2 a.m. ignored him, thinking he was just drunk as usual, Cayda said.
He added that the last person seen with him alive was allegedly boyfriend who was at his house Monday afternoon.
