FOOD FAIR

The City of Olongapo has recently launched a Food Fair as part of the observance of Nutrition Month this July.

Initiated by Mayor James “Bong” Gordon, Jr., the activity was organized by the City Nutrition Council in cooperation with the Livelihood and Cooperative Development Office (LCDO) with the support of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

Various food products ‘Fortified with vitamins’ and with ‘Sangkap Pinoy’ seals will be on display from July 14 to 18 at the ground floor of city hall.

The participants for the food exhibit will be Mr. EJ Baker featuring their squash pandesal; Nanay Viña’s atchara; D’Best Fish and Meat Processing; Pizza Roll; Castillo’s Cashew Nuts; Tiva’s Homemade Products; Nature’s Pure Peanut Butter and Earl Andrei Cakes and Pastries. The Nutrition Center of the Philippines will join in as well with their proudly made Philnery Vegetable Noodles.

Food Fair at the ground floor of the Olongapo City Hall in connection with Olongapo’s observance of the 34th Nutrition Month as initiated by Mayor Bong Gordon. This year’s Nutrition Month theme is “Sa Wastong Nutrisyon ni Mommy, Siguradong Healthy si Baby.”
