HPG seizes 16 hot vehicles

OLONGAPO City – Sixteen motor vehicles were seized by operatives of the Olongapo highway Patrol Group for various violations over the weekend.
HPG provincial officer Chief Insp. Noel Nuñez said most vehicles violated the Land Transportation law and the Anti- Car napping Law.
These include riding in tandem not wearing helmets, unregistered motorcycles, driving without license, delinquent LTO registration and car plats with colored plastic cover.
Nuñez said two colorum taxis were impounded by the city government,
The HPG also warned vehicle owners using commemorative plates not to superimpose them over regular plates.
Last August, the LTFRB, LTO and HPG impounded four colorum taxis in Olongapo. Their owners were penalized.
