BISHOP OF IBA CONGRATULATES ‘GAPO

Bishop of Iba, Zambales Florentino G. Lavarias has congratulated Mayor James Gordon, Jr. in a letter for achieving the recognition of being the Most Competitive Mid-sized City in the Philippines.

Bishop Lavarias also said in the letter that he hopes that the Christian ethic of “service to others before and above itself” will remain a guiding principle of Mayor Gordon in all his initiative to ensure the welfare of the city and become a way of life for all the people of Olongapo.

He added that values formation is central and indispensable in sustaining the city’s success

The Asian Institute of Management (AIM) which gave recognition to Olongapo City as one of the Most Competitive Mid-sized City in the country is prestigious and considered as one of the top business schools in Asia, according to the Guinness Book of World Records

AIM’s recognition of Olongapo as a Most Competitive city paved the way for new investments to come into the city. The business school found Olongapo an ideal place to do business and live in because of its effective programs for peace and order and cleanliness.
