Radio announcer sues Olongapo vice mayor

Northern Luzon, Olongapo City : A local radio broadcaster sued an official in northern Luzon for physical harassment.
In an affidavit submitted to the prosecutor's office, Nelson Marmeto, 40, a paraplegic said that Vice Mayor Rolen Paulino of Olongapo City threatened to hurt him in his booth on September 22. When the vice mayor barged into the office of radio station dwGO, Marmeto quoted the vice mayor as saying, "You know, I feel like punching you at this moment. You will have it coming."
Marmeto is known for criticising Paulino for allegedly fabricating issues against Mayor James Gordon Jr of Olongapo City. Marmeto said he refused to give in to the vice mayor's request to air his side.
