10,000 laborers, kailangan na ng Hanjin

Sampung libong manggagawa ang kinakailangan ng South Korean shipbuilding titan na Hanjin Heavy Industries & Construction Co., Ltd. para sa mga shipbuilding and repair projects nito.

20,000 skilled workers ang kinailangan ng Hanjin para sa mga shipyard projects subalit 10,000 kwalipikadong aplikante muna lamang ang tinanggap ng kumpanya.

Ayon sa Korean Chamber of Commerce Philippines president na si Jae J. Jang, top choice ng Korean Company ang mga Pilipinong manggagawa dahil sa sipag at tiyaga ng mga ito na angkop naman para shipbuilding industry.

Maaari nang magpasa ng resume ang mga interesadong aplikante sa Labor Center ng Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) o sa Public Employment Service Office (PESO) ng Olongapo City Hall upang maisumite ng mga tanggapan sa Hanjin.

Samantala, sinabi din ng kumpanyang Hanjin na nagkaroon na ito ng mga kasunduan sa iba’t ibang ship owners ng iba’t ibang bansa na nagpapatunay na pinagkakatiwalaan ito ng mga ship owners sa buong mundo. Magugunitang nauna dito ay nakipagkasundo na rin ang Hanjin ng malakihang kontrata sa Germany, France, India at Turkey para sa walong container carriers at building projects na nagkakahalaga ng higit dalawang bilyong dolyar ($2.2B).
