Donasyong Medical at Office Equipment Mula sa Australia

Lulan ng dalawang (2) container vans, dumating sa Olongapo City Convention Center (OCCC) ang mga donasyong medical and office equipment mula sa Rotary Australia World Community Service Limited nitong ika-7 ng Pebrero 2008.

Sa pakikipag-ugnayan ni Mayor James “Bong” Gordon, Jr. sa Rotary Australia World Community Service Limited, napagbigyan ang Olongapo City na makinabang sa mga ipinamamahagi nitong medical at office equipment bilang bahagi ng Overseas Aid Project ng organisasyon.

Pinangunahan nina Mayor Bong Gordon at First Lady at Zambales Vice Governor Anne Marie Gordon ang pagsalubong sa pagdating ng naturang mga donasyon. Kabilang sa mga ipinagkaloob na kagamitan ay mga wheelchairs, dental and medical supplies and equipment, surgical instruments, computers, printers, fax machines, encyclopedias, at marami pang iba.

Saksi rin sa pagbababa ng mga ipinagkaloob na kagamitan mula sa container vans sina Dr. Arturo Mendoza, Medical Director ng James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital (JLGMH), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) City Director Eliseo de Guzman, Disaster Management Office (DMO) Head Angie Layug at Government Services Office (GSO) Head Engr. Victor Bernabe.

Samantala, pinasasalamatan naman ng Olongapo City sa pangunguna ni Mayor Gordon ang Rotary Australia World Community Service Ltd. sa donasyon na pangunahing pakikinabangan ng mamamayan sa pamamagitan ng JLGMH, City Health Office at mga health centers sa lungsod.


Sina Mayor James ‘’Bong’’ Gordon, Jr. (gitna) kasama sina First Lady at Zambales Vice Governor Anne Marie Gordon, City Health Officer Dr. Arnildo Tamayo, JLGMH Medical Director at GSO Head Engr. Victor Bernabe habang ipinakikita ang ilan sa mga donasyong ipinagkaloob ng Rotary Australia World Community Service Limited nitong ika-7 ng Pebrero 2008.
