SBMA WINS IN THE INTER-DERPARTMENT BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT!
The SBMA team, led by Rani Cruz, copped first place in the recently held Olongapo City Inter-Department Basketball Tournament. Winning an intense championship game with the James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital team, led by Ronald Ramos, settled for second place.
The DOH-BIR team, led by Richard Macalatan wins placed third.
Rodolfo “Aga” Calma Jr. of the JLGMH team was adjuged Most Valuable Player (MVP). Rommel Fajardo (DENR-CPDO), Frederick Domingo (DOJ-BIR), Ramil Quinto (PNP), Ronald Ramos (JLGMH) and Rani Cruz (SBMA) were hailed as the Mythical Five.
Mayor James “Bong” Gordon Jr., along with Councilor Ellen Dabu, awarded the winning teams and players with trophies, medals and certificates during recent flag ceremony at the Rizal Triangle Covered Court last June 16, 2008. Thirteen (13) teams participated in the tournament.
