SBMA dock worker found floating
SUBIC Bay Freeport -- The body of a male dock worker was found floating along the shoreline of the former Naval Supply Depot, near Bldg. 1026 of this Freeport zone Monday morning.
Police retired Gen. Orlando M. Maddela, Jr., SBMA Law Enforcement manager, identified the victim as Bobby Navarro, an alleged yag-yag employee of Mega Subic Terminal Services, Inc. of Bldg. 1022, NSD Compound, Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
Operatives of the Law Enforcement Department responded to a radio call from the Seaport Department that a body found was floating about 25 meters away from the shoreline.
The victim’s fellow worker, Fidel Borja, a stay-in worker of MSTSI, said the victim was last seen at 10 a.m. Sunday.
Borja said the victim was an alcoholic and usually stayed in a shanty after work. By: Mamer Bañez - Journal online
